Mabel, a robot developed by the University of Michigan, USA, last year succeeded in becoming the first robot to walk on uneven surfaces. Now, with the improvisation ofthe developers, the robot managed to become the fastest runner in the world ofrobots, with a speed of 10.9 km / hour, beating the Toyota robot (4.3 km / h) andASIMO (3.7 km / h).

IEEE Spectrum in his article and wrote that the ability of the robot is
supported bydesign and human-like characteristics. For example, the robot has a body frame isheavier than the foot as well as system and tool motion antarrangka relationshipsimilar to human tendons.

In the video, it appears that swing up and down movement of the legs and body of the robot is really human-like. The robot spends 40 percent of the time running in "phase of flight" with two feet can not touch the ground, just like humans.
