HTC is currently using the Android OS and Windows 7 Phone on the device, is considering buying a new mobile OS.
As quoted by Mashable, chairwoman of HTC, Cher Wang, said the Economic Observer of China, that it is likely to buy a new mobile OS.
"The idea was put forward and we've discussed it internally. But we do not want to do it in a hurry," said Wang.
Earlier in the business world the OS has a lot of important events, namely the Nokia already uses the platform WP7, HP webOS stop business, and Google's newly purchased Motorola's Mobility. This ultimately left the HTC, as one of the largest mobile phone maker, which is the focus of the leadership of OS platforms that they use leads to another, rather than the Taiwanese company themselves.
Seeing this phenomenon, it is not surprising that Samsung, one of a successful mobile phone maker with the Android OS, still continued to press their own mobile OS, the Bada.
If HTC really wants a new mobile OS, or it may develop its own OS like Bada from Samsung, then there are several possibilities. HTC could have tried to develop their own versions of OS technology, or buying an existing OS like webOS from HP.
