Samsung Electronics of South Korea, on Monday said it has attracted a new tablet computer from a big electronics show in Berlin after the German court receives complaints from Apple USA.
Samsung Galaxy on Sunday to remove 7.7 inch from the event following the IFA's annual exhibition in Duesseldorf district court order Friday that prohibits the sale and marketing of the tablet, a company spokesman told AFP.
"Samsung respect the decision of the court ... and therefore decided to no longer display the Galaxy Tab 7.7 at IFA," the company said in a statement
Samsung promised to take "all steps that can be done, including choice of law" to maintain its presence in the European market, Samsung said the court ruling "severely limit consumer choice in Germany".
Duesseldorf court decision following a temporary ban on the sale since late August Galaxy Tab 10.1 Samsung in Germany.
The ban remains in effect until the court makes a final decision on Friday.
Apple, in a complaint to be filed in several countries, requesting the ban of sales and marketing smartphones and tablet PCs from Samsung on the grounds that the product "copied" from Apple's iPhone and iPad.
Samsung has launched a lawsuit claiming Apple is back with the unlawful use of wireless technology by Samsung. (A026)
